Avenlo Inc. respects and is committed to protecting the privacy of Internet visitors. We will continue to review and improve our privacy policy to ensure the safety and protection of our visitor’s information.

The information contained herein was created to validate our commitment to privacy. The following discloses the information gathering and practices for this web site.

Like radio, television and other forms of media, the cost associated with serving you content on the web is mostly offset by advertising. Our goal is to make advertising more effective by serving more relevant ads that you may actually be interested in and be as informative as possible, while keeping your anonymity and privacy.

Personal Information

We do not collect “Personally Identifiable Information” (PII) such as name, address, phone, e-mail, credit card or anything else that can personally identify you unless you choose to provide it to us or one of our third party our business associates. Some examples of personal information that we may collect are:

1. Telephone number
2. Any other information you provide to us though the course of communicating with us or one of our third party our business associates.
3. First and Last Name
4. Physical Address
5. Email address

We tend to collect anonymous, non-Personally Identifiable Information. This information includes (but is not limited to) session data, browser information, operating system type, IP address, geographic data, and other generic Internet usage related data from users online through advertisements we manage on behalf of our clients.

You can learn more about collection of collecting non-Personally Identifiable Information and other advertising practices by visiting www.iab.net/privacymatters → or the “Learn More” section of the www.networkadvertising.org/managing/learn_more.asp → Network Advertising Initiative.

The reason we tend to collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information is to better match the ads to your interest and to gauge the effectiveness of the ads so you don’t repeatedly see the same ads. We may also use Non-Personally Identifiable Information data from third parties.

Our Technology

Avenlo uses methods that are widely used across the web such as Pixels (also known as Web Beacons) and cookies in order to help make online ads you see more relevant to you and measure the success of our online campaigns.

Pixels

Pixels are very small images placed on a web page to help us to identify a conversion and monitor the activity of a site. They also allow us to create, update and read our own cookies.

Cookies

A cookie is a short line of text that web sites place in your browser when you visit them. When you return to the site or view another ad, a site can access these cookie files. It helps sites to determine the frequency you visited, ads you’ve seen and records your preferences. Cookies cannot be used to access any other data on your computer.

Cookies can also be used to customize pages for you based on your browser type or other information.

Avenlo may use cookies to gather information in order to enable our advertising platform to serve targeted ads that you may likely have higher interest in and not just generic ads.

Data Retention

Our cookies do are set to expire after 24 months and the expiration date updates every time a visitor comes across our servers. Aggregate reports generated from this information may be kept longer.

Data Security

Once we collect information, we make commercially reasonable efforts to safeguard data in our possession against loss, theft, unauthorized use, disclosure or modification. However, due to the nature of electronic transmission over the Internet we cannot we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.

Opting-Out

When you come across ads we serve, we try to show you ads that best match your interests instead of generic ads. The idea is to make the ads you see more useful to you. Our ad matching technology uses anonymous data about your visits to both pages within our network, partner sites and ads you may have viewed or clicked on.

If you do not want the benefits of cookie technology, there are a numbers of simple procedures that allow you to deny it. One simple method to opt out of Avenlo cookies (or any other cookies for that matter) is through your Internet Browser. In your Internet Browser preferences you can set the browser on your computer to warn you each time a cookie is being used, block third party cookies or block all cookies. However, by blocking all cookies you may not have access to features on sites that depend upon cookies.

You may choose to opt-out from our ad matching services by pressing the Opt-out button below which will remove the browser you are now using from our services. If you opt out, the ads we show you will be more general and less relevant to you. Opting out will not turn off ads altogether.

Opting out does not mean that the Avenlo cookies will be deleted. To delete your cookies you may do so through your Internet Browser. Opting out basically means Avenlo will not use data connected to your cookie for our services.

To “opt-out” of the benefits of cookies, just click here Opt-Out Now >>

Please note that if you block, delete, restrict cookies or if you surf the internet using a different computer or Internet browser, you may need to renew your opt-out choice.

Opting-In Again

If you have opted-out by mistake or have realizes you prefer being shown ads that may be of interest to you and not generic ads and wish to opt back in, please contact us by clicking here →.

Your IP address can, however, reveal what geographic area you are connecting from, or which ISP you are using. Finally, other websites you visit have IP addresses, and we may collect the IP addresses of those websites and their pages.
